We envision a plan for quick-fix urban design and architecture that functions as a life-support agent for the perpetually changing city. It is, quite simply, activist architecture with the potential to be a visible force for positive change. We promote architecture as an event, which can only be fully realised with the active participation of inhabitants. Architects have to wake up and employ new methods to speed up response times and accept that governments do need our creative and unconventional input to keep all citizens safe – and not just the privileged few.
